Selinsgrove is close to several regional, national, and international airports for all of your air travel needs.

 • Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) Harrisburg International Airport is located approximately 60 miles and 45 minutes from Selinsgrove. Harrisburg International is served by airlines American, United, Delta Northwest, USAir and several commuter airlines. All major rental car companies have a presence in the airport should you choose to utilize them for your northbound trip to the area.
 • Wilkes-Barre - Scranton International Airport (AVP) Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wilkes-Barre - Scranton International Airport is located just two hours northeast of Selinsgrove and is served by many major airlines and all major rental car companies. It is located close to the Pocono Mountains, the premier skiing destination of the Keystone State.
 • Penns Valley Airport (SEG) Penn Valley Airport lies just outside Selinsgrove and serves private and charter planes. The airport recently built an all-new terminal and the runway is currently being expanded to provide express service to cities such as Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.

By train

Selinsgrove lies approximately 60 miles (45 minutes) north of Pennsylvania's capital city of Harrisburg. That city serves as a vital station on Amtrak's Keystone and Pennsylvanian train routes. Trains from Boston, New York and Philadelphia arrive in Harrisburg as well as trains from points west, including Pittsburgh. After arrival, Selinsgrove is a short drive or bus ride away. Taxis are also available at the station.

By car

Selinsgrove is served by Interstate 80, which runs East-West just north of the area. Pennsylvania state routes 11 and 15 merge north of Harrisburg and serve as the main transportation artery serving central Pennsylvania. Many of Selinsgrove's biggest shopping districts and neighborhoods lie along routes 11 and 15. South of Selinsgrove, 11/15 connects with Interstates 81, 83 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike west to Pittsburgh and east to Philadelphia.

Parking in Selinsgrove

As a car is by far the best way to navigate the Selinsgrove area, parking is readily available in throughout town along the street and in designated lots. Parking is either free or extremely cheap and should not be hard to find, get into and get out of.

By bus

Selinsgrove is served by Greyhound/Trailways bus service downtown. Greyhound service connects to Harrisburg International Airport, the Harrisburg Transportation Center (Amtrak) and numerous other transportation hubs throughout the area including the neighboring cities of Lewisburg and Sunbury.
